Italy training camp

Training camps are meant to be tough, but the 2007 campers made my job a challenge by giving me the following the extremes: -

Ability range – novice to ITU World Cup top 10 performer.

Distance range – never done a triathlon to Ironman regular.

Age range – 19yrs – 48yrs.

4 Countries – Ireland, England, Wales and Bermuda.

The aim of the camp was to put the icing onto the year’s base training with an emphasis on long rides in the Romangan hills, swimming technique in the hotel pool and some fast and furious race prep session, to get fire up for the coming season.
